Meet The Team
Coach Andrew Dixon
As a seasoned coach and mentor, Andrew has developed a unique approach to mental mentorship—connecting performance on the court with success at home, in school, and in friendships. He believes that the court is a classroom, and the coach is often the last line of mentorship that youth will truly respect and listen to.
Coach Chris Ward
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Chris began his basketball journey in grade 7 in elementary school taking his team to a championship in the local Durham Region regionals winning the finals MVP.
Coach Leo Morrison
Relentlessly competitive and surgically precise, Coach Leo is a master of the craft—where passion meets precision. Known across the basketball landscape as a skill builder extraordinaire, Coach Leo thrives on one principle: there is a right way to do everything, and we’re going to master it.

The Flight Collectiv3 was founded by three individuals from similar backgrounds who chose to rise above their circumstances and rewrite their own stories. This shared experience, and a unified vision for community upliftment, became the foundation of the academy.
More than just a basketball program, The Flight Collectiv3 is a mindset—a commitment to mentorship, skill development, and personal growth. We combine high-level basketball instruction with real-life coaching, guiding youth through the pivotal moments of their development.

With over 40 years of elite basketball experience, Andrew Dixon brings a lifetime of dedication, passion, and championship-level discipline to the next generation. From winning high school championships to competing in college finals, Andrew’s journey is rooted in excellence both on and off the court.
But it’s not just about the game. Striving for greatness and ready to make a mark on the court
Born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Chris began his basketball journey in grade 7 in elementary school taking his team to a championship in the local Durham Region regionals winning the finals MVP. When moving to his high school career at Sir Robert L. Borden, where he quickly made a name for himself again as an exceptional player. With his talent and dedication, he played an instrumental role in helping his high school team secure a championship victory again, where he was honored as the Most Valuable Player. This achievement not only showcased his skills but also revealed his potential to thrive under pressure.
Seeking new challenges and opportunities, Chris decided to transfer to Cedarbrae Collegiate in pursuit of further development. It was here that he continued to impress both his teammates and opponents alike. In his first year at Cedarbrae, he led the team to a remarkable second-place finish in the city championship, establishing himself as a formidable force on the court. His resilience and desire to constantly improve were evident through his tireless efforts throughout the season.
